Greetings!

As Clerk of Ontario’s Legislature, it gives me great pleasure to welcome the Society of Clerks-at- the-Table in Commonwealth Parliaments to Toronto for the 54^th General Meeting.

The Legislative Assembly of Ontario is a perfect venue for this year’s conference, with an agenda that aims to further the society’s objectives of building a mutual interest of duties, rights and privileges among all members.

While you’re here, I hope you will enjoy all of the amenities of our historic Legislative Building at Queen’s Park, celebrating its 125^th anniversary this year! In addition, this year’s host city, Toronto, offers exciting visitation opportunities with its many world-class attractions and diverse cultural neighbourhoods to explore.

I would personally like to thank all of the delegates who are taking time to attend this year’s conference – I very much look forward to meeting you as we develop goals aimed at helping us better serve our parliamentarians and our institutions.
